The Study Buddy is a straightforward method that helps students – and their parents – manage their studying and revision at home.

It’s about knowing exactly what has to be done and planning it in. But it’s also about learning how you work best, adapting and flexing approach and ultimately building good time management behaviours.

It’s understandable that there’s a lot of negative feeling at the moment. School is subject to new rules and restrictions. Education is being disrupted. There’s a fair amount to catch-up on. Uncertainty is the only thing we can be sure of.

It’s unfortunate but that’s the reality of the situation that students, particularly those taking GCSEs and A Levels in 2021, are in.

So, what do you do? Shrug your shoulders at how unfair things are? Carry on regardless and hope for the best? Or, do you take control?

You can’t change the events of past. But you can absolutely take charge of how you respond to them for your future.

With The Study Buddy’s approach to structuring revision you can take a positive step to becoming the master or mistress of your own destiny.

Good things come to those who

Make a list of all the things that you have to know for your subjects. This should be what you’ve already studied as well as what you’ve got to do. Break it down into meaningful chunks.

Against your “What I need to do list” mark your confidence levels. You could go for a traffic light system – high/medium/low – or simply Yes/No for whether you feel prepared.

Now focus on those areas and close the gap. It’s worth keeping an eye on your progress. Your confidence will grow as you cover more and more of your content.

We can help you get going quickly.
